As a service to the public, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center collects information on native plant societies, conservation groups, governmental agencies, botanical gardens, arboreta, and other plant-related organizations throughout North America. Native Plant Focus: The Lubbock Memorial Arboretum focuses on water conservation to include rain barrel workshops and water wise plants. We also have various presentations on conservation topics throughout the year.
Description: Lubbock Memorial Arboretum Foundation, Inc. provides educational opportunities on all aspects of horticulture in this area, in order to develop an understanding and appreciation of trees and ornamental plants, encourages beautification of all public and private lands, conservation of natural resources, and promotes cooperation with other organizations with similar goals.
