As a service to the public, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center collects information on native plant societies, conservation groups, governmental agencies, botanical gardens, arboreta, and other plant-related organizations throughout North America. Affiliates are organizations that partner with the Wildflower Center to encourage the preservation and use of native plants in different regions of the country.

Native Plant Focus: Through a dual approach of on-the-ground conservation combined with targeted public outreach, PCA strives to achieve its mission: "To protect native plants by ensuring that native plant populations and their communities are maintained, enhanced, and restored." Also, PCA is taking a leadership role in the National Native Plant Materials Development & Conservation Program.
Description: The PCA is a consortium of ten federal government Member agencies and over 260 non-federal Cooperators representing various disciplines within the conservation field. PCA Members and Cooperators work collectively to solve the problems of native plant extinction and native habitat restoration, ensuring the preservation of our ecosystem.
