As a service to the public, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center collects information on native plant societies, conservation groups, governmental agencies, botanical gardens, arboreta, and other plant-related organizations throughout North America. Native Plant Focus: We manage natural areas to encourage native plant growth, and hold an annual fundraiser where we propagate native plants to sell.

Description: Grand Prairie Friends - Prairie Grove Volunteers is a nonprofit organization composed of people from many walks of life who share a commitment to preserving and restoring tallgrass prairie and woodlands in East-Central Illinois. We acquire and manage prairie and woodland remnants, conduct prescribed burns, propagate and plant indigenous prairie and woodland species in reconstructions, and generate interest in prairies and woodlands through a variety of educational programs.
