As a service to the public, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center collects information on native plant societies, conservation groups, governmental agencies, botanical gardens, arboreta, and other plant-related organizations throughout North America. Native Plant Focus: As part of our Pollinator Friendly Practices, NAPPC encourages planitng native species wherever possible.
Description: NAPPC is a public/private collaboration of over 70 participants representing government agencies, non-government organizations, environmental groups, private industry, agriculture, academia and research science working individually and cooperatively to protect North American pollinating species and their habitats. The tri-national NAPPC brings together the resources, expertise and dedication of a growing coalition of successful partners adept at reaching decision makers, respected academic institutions, publications, environmentally committed individuals and the general public.
