Native Plant Focus: AS a cooperator with the BLM, we are utilizing biotechnological techniques of tissue culture to mass produce species in this family which are listed as Endangered, Threatened, or Vulnerable by the IUCN. This is done for government agencies, botanical gardens, or universities both foreign and domestic which supply the request and material with the understanding that the material is to be returned to its natural habitat or preserved in a protected site near this natural habitat with the intention of reducing or eliminating its current threat status.

Description: Botresearch USA is a non-profit botanical research organization specializing in plants of the Lamiaceae/Labiatae family. Our current research is a five year study which involves the anatomy, chemistry, and physiology of this family with documentation via photomicroscopy and digital photography. This research will culminate with the publication of a set of manuals for University students of Botany, Horticulture, and Biotechnology. It will include as many of the 180 genera and 3500 species as we can acquire and process within the five year time frame.
