As a service to the public, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center collects information on native plant societies, conservation groups, governmental agencies, botanical gardens, arboreta, and other plant-related organizations throughout North America. Description: Lotusland is a 37 acre estate in the foothills of Montecito near Santa Barbara. Its gardens present a variety of mainly tropical and sub-tropical exotic species ranging from desert cacti and succulents to jungle-loving ginger and banana treees.
