Native Plants
As a service to the public, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center collects information on native plant societies, conservation groups, governmental agencies, botanical gardens, arboreta, and other plant-related organizations throughout North America. Description: TPWD is a state agency with the responsibility for Texas wildlife. The Wildlife Diversity Program addresses all organisms. Within the program, there are several botanists who focus on conserving rare plants.
