Tetraneuris linearifolia (Hook.) Greene

Fineleaf fournerved daisy

Asteraceae (Aster Family)

The few leaves are at the base, 2 inches long, forming a rosette. The 5-inch stem is leafless and bears 1 yellow flower head that has 6–15 ray flowers. They are toothed, with 4 veins that converge at the tip. We found Four-nerved daisy between San Vicente and the Chisos Mountains, in Big Bend National Park, in April. They grow larger under more favorable conditions
