The Little House is a charming one-room house with sweeping views of the Wildflower Center gardens. Itís a special place for our little guests to visit. Children can enter through a small door, help themselves to materials and read, play with puzzles, draw, or look at small nature displays. Its small secluded courtyard has large pots to dig in the sand and a childrenís garden is within view.
The Little House is separated into three focus centers: book nook, puzzle, and drawing areas. There is a set of little chairs, school desk and sensory table that was made by painting our mismatched furniture with flowers, butterflies, and ladybugs. The sensory table can be used for touchable natural objects. Kids can slip their art in transparent pockets on quilts hung on doors or take their masterpieces home.
