Minnette Marr, plant conservationist at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, atop Enchanted Rock in Central Texas. Marr , another staff member, and a hundred volunteers have collected and stored thousands of seeds from native plants throughout Texas for the Millennium Seed Bank Project led by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. They have also collected plants and seeds from Texas poppy mallow and other endangered plants for future landscape restoration efforts.
