Abstract
Describes a micropropagation protocol for Ipomoea pes-caprae. Augmenting the Murashige and Skoog medium with either the cytokinin 2-isopentenyladenine (2iP) or zeatin promoted shoot regeneration. Microcuttings were effectively rooted when the medium was supplemented with indolebutyric acid (IBA). Transplant survival was 100 percent.Suggested Citation
