Abstract
Evaluates five irrigation schedules on the shoot growth and stem water potential of Itea virginica and Rhododendron austrinum. The growth index of both species increased linearly with increasing irrigation frequency. Although plant growth may be diminished slightly, irrigation frequency can be reduced if the root ball and soil are monitored.Suggested Citation
