Abstract

Reports on a pollination study of Solidago canadensis in October in Ohio. Selective pollinators of this species included a wasp (Polistes fuscatus) and a locust borer (Megacyllene robiniae). Results indicating a possibly complex pollination system involving mimicry between insect pollinators.
