Location: NE corner of intersection of Salado Creek and the low water crossing from the main base of Ft. Sam Houston to the Pershing Firing Range, San Antonio.

Habitat: Rooted in mud of fresh water creek bank. Frequently flooded. Full sun.

Description: Mat forming, fleshy perennial; stems loosely ascending, to 3 dm. Leaves cuneate to narrow base, rounded at apex. Pedicels exceeding the subtending leaf. Corolla campanulate, obscurely bilabiate, lilac colored, to 10 cm long.
