Habitat:
Open glade; level, alluvial soil. Nominal moisture. Among other herbs including Poaceae. Few and scattered.
Description:
Erect perennial, 45 cm tall, multi-stemmed, branching in upper axils. Leaves opposite, to 6+ cm long, 5-7 pinnate lobes & these again pinnatified. Spikes terminally paniculate, elongating in fruit. Bractlets linear, longer than calyx. Corolla purple, tube 1.5 x length of calyx.
