Location: 75 m E of Swimming Pool-Oakwell Farms, San Antonio.
Latitude: 0.000000

Habitat: Large colony of scattered plants among Poaceae, Cirsium & other herbs. Half-day sun in a glade.

Description: Erect annual from fiberous roots, to 40+ cm tall. Leaves few, scattered, alternate, 3-6 parted, wider than long. Petioles to 6 cm, thin. Flowers solitary on naked peduncles (to 6 cm), crimson; petals-5, 2 cm long x 1.3 cm wide, slightly clawed, early deciduous, erose at summit.
