Location: Fenceline on E R.O.W. of Ira Lee Rd & 30 m S of Laurens Lane, San Antonio.
Latitude: 0.000000

Habitat: Level, dry alkaline, alluvial soil. Large colony in half-day sun.

Description: 35 mm tall, perennial from fiberous-fusiform roots, base sub-ligneous. Stalk 4-angled, grooved w/ascending branches, hirsute w/spreading hairs & glandular pubesence into infloresence. Leaves w/petioles 1-2 cm long, narrowly ovate, rounded at apex, subacute at base; surfaces moderately hirsute, margins obscurely crenate & slightly ciliate. Corolla: bluish-purple, 3 cm long, flaring. Cleistogamous fruit clavate, 3.5 x 16 mm.
