Habitat: Small grove, among other small trees on shallow caliche.
Description: Tree, 4 m tall, 8 cm dia trunk, much branched, crown rounded; bark thin, peeling. Leaves oblong-ovate, coriaceous, rounded to emarginate at apex, to 3 cm long. Corolla white, urceolate; petals to 8 mm long, recurving. Stamens-15 inserted.
