Location: E side of creek, on both sides of the wooden footbridge at intersection of East-West & North South paths--Oakwell Farms, San Antonio.Latitude: 0.000000
Habitat: Sunny, moist (often inundated) bank of ditch. Among Poaceae, several dense colonies.
Description: Tufted perennial w/thick fiberous roots; erect, but weak & sprawling. Stem pubescent. Later leaves long petiolate, 3-parted; leaflet deeply 3-cleft, sharply toothed. Flower yellow, shiney, appearing waxy; sepals-5, reflexed. Petals-5, broader near tip, to 12 mm long x 6 mm broad.
