Habitat: Climbing in low shrubs & semi- to heavy shade.

Description: Slender vine from perennial root. Climbing by simple tendrils. Leaves ovate, cordate at base, 5-lobed/toothed, about 5 cm dia, dark green above, lighter below. Flowers axillary, yellow: staminate-racemose or corym-bose; pistillate-solitary, persistant. Fruit ellipsoid, yellow green, 1-2 cm long.
