Habitat: Adventitious in disturbed, moist, alkaline soil. Scattered but common.

Description: Erect herb, to 65 cm tall. Much branched above, glabrous, w/strong anise odor. Leaves compoundly pinnate to filiform. Infloresence; compound umbels, terminal & lateral. Peduncles exceeding leaves. Rays many, spreading to 10 cm long. Pedicels 6+ mm, many. Flowers solitary, small, yellow.
