Extremely rocky, stoney soil. Morning shade/afternoon sun.
Description:
Erect, tufted, perennial grass, 40 cm tall. Leaves much shorter than culm. Sheath & nodea glabrous, ligules & lower part of blades shortly hirsute. Panicle 18 cm long w/3 well spaced branches, 21 mm long. Spikelets 20 per branch. Florets in 2 rows. Spikelets 5 mm long including 3 mm awns.
