Habitat: Sunny, dry, level, alkaline, alluvial soil.

Description: Herbaceous, branched above, to 6 dm tall. Leaves thick, ovate-cordate, acute, irregularly serrate, to 1 dm long. Flowers solitary in axils. Petals orange-yellow.
