Habitat: Semi-shaded canyon. Rocky, dry soil. Few and scattered.
Description: Deeply rooted, erect perennial. Stalk terete, 2-3 mm dia, 50 cm tall, delicately branched in upper half. Leaves alternate, sessile, lance-ovate, truncate basally w/apical mucro, 10x20 mm (smaller than typical because of arid conditions). Infloresence a terminal raceme.
