Habitat: Edge plant of trees and bushes. Full afternoon sun on west facing hill.

Description: Erect, 40 cm stem, terete, green dia. 2 mm/base & 1 mm/top. Leaves opposite, entire, to 30x21 mm, lower almost sessile, cordate to ovate, upper almost clasping. Stamens (4) and pistel exerted. Filaments inequal, purple. Anthers bright yellow, .5x.8 mm. Sepals 5, conate, bright purple, campanulate, 19 mm dia.
