Location: W side of ditch, 45 m S of wooden bridge--Oakwell Farms.Latitude: 0.000000
Habitat: Damp ditch bank, sometimes flooded. Half shade. Alkaline, alluvial soil. Single plant, only one seen in the community.
Description: Erect perennial, 2 m tall, with 1+ velvety-pubescent stems from deep woody root. Leaves spirally arranged. Leaflets: 5-8 pairs, oblong-elliptic, acute/obtuse, mucronate, basally asymetric, 2.5-5 cm long x 1-2 cm wide. Glands between each pair of leaflets. Flowers in racemes equaling the leaves, from upper axils, papillonaceous, light yellow. Fruit linear, compressed, curved.
