Habitat: Heavy shade. Nominal moisture. Deep alkaline, alluvial soil.

Description: Apparently annual. Small colony, 35-50 cn tall, slender, erect, single stalk; many short opposing branches. Leaves ovate-lanceolate, to 3 x 6.5 cm, long petioled. dark green above, heavily veined. Infloresence in upper axils and terminals, bilabiate, rose-pink, stamens exserted. Fruit not present.
