Location: Front flowerbeds of 43 Campden Circle--Oakell Farms, San Antonio.
Latitude: 0.000000

Habitat: Well watered, full sun, in bark mulched soil (may be acidic) of normally alkaline site. Several similar colonies in the community.

Description: Definite taproot 10-17.5 cm; upper 18 mm red, lower more narrow and white. Stem erect, much branched, striate, light green; lower ones purple beneath, dotted/mottled including some petioles. Leaves alternate (petioles to 25 mm), ovate-lanceolate, obtuse to rounded at apex, crenate, deeply veined; light green above, to 18x37 mm. Flowers small, yellowish. Fruit a small capsule.
