Location: 15 m N of the new Iron Bridge, on E side of creek--Oakwell Farms.
Latitude: 0.000000

Habitat: Half shade; moist, alkaline, alluvial soil.

Description: Erect, taprooted annual, 4 m tall. Stem angled and striate. Leaves variable (3-5 palmate lobes usual), to 15 cm long, almost that broad, on petioles to 7 cm, opposite, dark green. Infloresence of staminate racimiform heads to 10 cm long; pistillate heads much smaller, congested in axial bracts below the racemes.
