Habitat: Flat brushy area. Semi-shade. Nominal moisture. Alkaline soil.

Description: Monoecious, climbing, scabrous vine, clinging by axillary tendrils, with slender, branching stems. Leaves 5-lobed, to 6 cm wide with petioles to 2 cm. Pistillate flowers greenish-yellow, solitary in axils. Staminate flowers racemose.
