Habitat: Dry red clay & sand. Prosopis dominant in area.
Description: Erect annual with suffruticose lower stems, taproot, to 70 cm tall. Much branched above. Stellate-tomentose. Leaves entire, alternate, petioled, silvery-green, with prominent midvein, acute, long tapered from near base. Stipules subulate, caducous, infloresence an androgenous spike.
