Description:
Erect perennial to 60 cm tall. Peduncles, phyllaries, leaves & stems with dense, soft white, appressed-sericeous pubesence. Much branched above midstem. Lower leaves early deciduous, oblanceolate. Middle & upper leaves linear, 5+ x longer than broad. Infloresence loose. Heads turbinate, 3-5 series of phyllaries. Rays about 20, yellow; disk flowers many, yellow.
