Clamboring on shrubs & climbing by means of adhesive disks on Quercus, Ulmus, Celtis & Carya. More than half shade. Moist, alkaline, soil.
Description:
Woody vine. Leaves alternate, long petioled (14 cm). Leaflets 5, palmately arranged, with short petioles, about 4 x 8 cm (variable), elliptic, acuminate at both ends, coarsely dentate on apical 2/3. Cymes opposite leaves and terminal. Flowers many. Fruit not seen.
