In mud & full sun. Subject to flooding. Alkaline, alluvial soil. Common in the community, often in dense colonies.
Description:
Ascending perennial with fiberous roots, to 40 cm tall. Stalks forking in upper third. Leaves sessile, lanceolate, microsopically serrate, glabrous, to 1.5 x 6 cm, bright green. Corolla a 9 mm, white tube, flaring abruptly. Fruit not seen.
