Description:
Shrub. An erect clump, 45 cm high, herbaceous above. Leaves opposite, sessile or nearly so, sinear lanceolate 25-50 mm long, entire with a pair of glands. Racemes laxly flowered, 15 cm long. Flowers yellow/orange, reddening with age. Pedicels articulate, 6 mm long. Fruit a subglobose capsule, 3-lobed, 3-4 mm long. Carpels separating and dihescent.
