Description:
Shrub to 2 m tall. Branches gray with waxlike bloom, terminating in sharp, stout thorns. Leaves linear-lanceolate to ovate-lanceolate, gray-green, serrate in outer half, alternate, petioled. Flowers in axillary cymes.
