Location: North side of Canyon Lake, along Hwy 32, 1.6 km west of Hwy 484.
 Latitude: 0.000000

Habitat: In colonies along roadside, on dry, rocky soil.

Description: Erect to sprawling perennial, 15-60 cm tall, semi-woody. Yellow flowers, 37-50 mm wide with black throat and black stigma which extends beyond the stamens. Bud is square.
