Habitat: Full sun; scattered, but common. Alkaline, alluvial soil.
Description: Erect, 15 cm, perennial (tough root). Leaves soft, pinnate (7-11 lobes). Peduncles 5 cm. Phyllaries united up to deltoid tip. Rays 12-13, yellow; Disk florest about 100, yellow orange,mm, brown with yellow tips.
