Location: N side of Canyon Lake on Canyon Lake Island. On road-cut at 801 Military Drive.
Latitude: 0.000000

Habitat: Scarce in grassy, semi-shady areas.

Description: Stems, radiating from a woody rootstock, grow to 60 cm long. All parts are coverd with long, spreading hairs. Flowers, in pairs, are star-shaped and dark purple.
