Location: South of and on east end of the East-West path--Oakwell Farms.
Latitude: 0.000000

Habitat: Full sun. Steep slope, well drained. Alkaline, alluvial soisl. Among various Poaceae. Large colony.

Description: Stout taproot. Old growth indicates perennial/biennial, 35 cm, or more. More branches forming. Leaves narrowly eliptic, light green, alternate, petiolate, very slightly denticulate, 1.5 x 3.5 cm. Hypanthium 4 mm long. Infloresence a loose spike. Fruit: 2.5 x 6 cm, 4-angled, thick-fusiform.
