Habitat: Well watered loam; full sun. Common in community, but scattered.
Description: Foliage somewhat brown-red. Stems and peduncles from nodes of thin underground rhizome. Main root not thicker than stems. Petiole stems to 9 cm; peduncles to 5.5 cm. 1-4 flowered, yellow. Seed brown without white markings.
