Full sun; normal moisture; alkaline, alluvial soil. Common in the area in colonies.
Description:
Perennial from tuberous roots. Many culms, much branched, not rooting at nodes. Blades 1.1 x 12 cm, linear. Sheaths to 1.6 cm. Spathes 2 cm, recurved, apiculate, closed on the adaxial side.
