Habitat: With mixed grasses in mostly full sun. Deep,dark relatively well drained alkaline soil.
Description: In clumps, leaves to 1', culms erect, to 2-3'. Leaves thin, narrow, bluntly clasping, light green, smooth when rubbed base to tip, tacky if rubbed tip to base. Flowering culms much branched. Seeds cylindrical, brown/tan.
