Level, alkaline, alluvial flood plain. Full sun. Among Celtis, Ulmus, and Quercus.
Description:
20m tree, crown rounded; trunk dia.--30cm. Leaves mostly deeply 3-lobed, 3-9cm long and almost as broad, margins coarsely serrate, rounded basally, dark green, lustrous above, white-pubescent beneath. Petioles, 2-6cm long, 1mm thick, red. Fruit/flowers not seen. Possible horticultural transplant.
