Location: S side of Heuremann Rd., 1- 1/4 mi W of Milsa.

Habitat: In full sun, on a very dry, gravelly hillside. Among Linum, Vernonia, and Stillingia

Description: Perennial herb to 2 1/2" tall stems from woody taproot. Flowers bright yellow, pea type, in rounded, compact spikes. Silky bracts persist on columns.
