Habitat: Full sun. Deep, sandy soil. Among various Poaceae. Nominal moisture.

Description: Divergently branched annual, 2-6 dm tall with strong taproot. Sparsely glandular, petioles to 2 cm, leaflets 3, linear to oblanceolate, 1-4 cm long; 1-5 mm wide. Racemes to 25 cm, petals white to pale yellow. Petals clawed, Stamens 6-15, red.
