Location: Hwy 16 about 2.5 miles west of Helotes, on the center median.
Latitude: 0.000000

Habitat: Full sun, stoney, but still generous amounts of good soil, rain runs off road for extra water.

Description: Upright, much branched to about 70 cm tall. Leaves narrow-linear, sessile. Flowers-purple, over 1 cm wide with obovate petals. Stamens exserted slightly.
