Habitat: Very prevalent in shade under Juniperus ashii. Soil conditions rocky, but with dirt and humus.

Description: Erect annual, mature calyx is campanulate, subglobose, to 2 mm. Stems simple and pubescent, slender. Leaves with slender petioles, elliptic-lanceolate, to 4 cm, petioles 2 cm. Flower clusters sessile, bracts exceeding calyx.
