Latitude: 0.000000

Habitat: Widespread conditions; very poor soil on hillside in shade under Quercus virginiana to fair soil in full sun.

Description: Open spindley shrub to 3 m tall. Recurved prickles; leaf has 1-3 pairs of pinnae and each pinna has 4-7 pairs of leaflets 1-2 cm long. Numerous small flowers in creamy-white, fuzzy globes, 2 cm across.
