Habitat: On dry, roadside fill, in full sun.

Description: Several erect stems divided into multiple ascending branches in upper half. Plant 3 dm tall. Leaves of upper stem entire to sparsely dentate, becoming narrowly linear on flowering branches. Numerous purple flowers spikes.
